Back up or transfer Local Projects on Android – Site Audit Pro

You can export the Site Audit Pro database from an old Android device, copy it through a computer and import it on a new Android device.

Keep Site Audit Pro and its data on the old device until you have checked every Project and generated a test Report on the new device.

⚠️

Photos do not always reconnect correctly after a database transfer. The files may still be present in the projects folder, but you might need to add them to the relevant Projects again.

Export from the old device

Open Site Audit Pro.

Select the menu, then Settings → General → Import/Export Database.

Select Export Database and read the on-screen notice.

Choose or create a folder, then select Use this folder.

Connect the device to a computer.

Use the computer's Android file browser to copy the exported folder and all of its contents to the computer.

Copy to the new device

Connect the new device to the computer.

Copy the complete exported folder into the new device's Documents folder. Do not change anything inside the exported folder.

Import on the new device

Open Site Audit Pro.

Select the menu, then Settings → General → Import/Export Database.

Select Import Database and read the on-screen notice.

Select the folder you copied. It should contain a projects folder and a site_audit_db file.

Select Use this folder.

Check every Project and generate a test Report before removing the app or data from the old device.
