Accessing Project Photos on Your Computer

If “Save to Camera Roll” is enabled within the app settings when these photos are taken, your photos will be accessible in your device’s Photos app. If “Save to Camera Roll” is disabled (or was disabled when the photos were taken), you will need to use a computer to access these photos.

 

Please follow the relevant instructions below, based on the computer you are using, to access your photos.

Windows PC / macOS Mojave and older

First of all, please ensure you are running the most recent version of both Site Audit Pro, and iTunes.

  1. Connect your device to your computer.
  1. Open iTunes and click the device icon in the top left.
  1. Click “File Sharing” on the left side of the window.
  1. Find and click “Site Audit Pro”.
  1. Each folder you see _(aside from “__LatestReport” and “__CompanyLogo” - and “firestore” if you’re a Site Audit Pro Cloud user)_ , contains photos for a specific project - the folder is named using the date the project was created. Select each project folder you need.
  1. Click “Save to…” and save them to a safe location on your computer.
 

macOS Catalina and newer

First of all, please ensure you are running the most recent version of Site Audit Pro.

  1. Connect your device to a Mac device.
  1. Open Finder.
  1. Click the device in the left side of the window where your Mac’s folders and storage drives are listed (it’ll be listed under the sub-heading “Locations”).
  1. Locate and click “Files” within the list of tabs, found underneath the device details at the top of the window.
  1. Find and expand the entry for “Site Audit Pro”.
  1. Open a second instance of Finder and navigate to where you wish to store your Site Audit Pro data.
  1. Each folder you see (_aside from __LatestReport” and “__CompanyLogo” - and “firestore” if you’re a Site Audit Pro Cloud user_), contains photos for a specific project - the folder is named using the date the project was created. Click and drag each project folder you need to your other Finder window (it’s not possible to move more than one at a time).
 

Android (VERSION HERE)

If ‘Save photos to album’ is turned on in settings, then Photos are saved to the ‘Pictures’ folder, under a folder for each project. You may also find them in the Photos app.

  1. Connect device to computer
  1. Open Android file browser
  1. Navigate to the folder named ‘Pictures’. This folder will contain all of your photos, these will be contained in individual folders for each project.
  1. Copy these over to your computer.
